The reason I enjoy old writing is that I get history without the burden of reading a history book text. I doubt that I will get through this, Kindle says that it would take 290 hours to read. In the various fables so far there has been greed, infidelity, cannibalism, religious discussion (Jew, Christian, Muslim, Hindu), beatings, murder, and everybody that has money has slaves, that was just an expected part of life. In other words, except that slavery and cannibalism are by and large gone, nothing much has changed in 1000 years.
